My Review:
So I'm trying to think of what to say about this book. I will start out with I was really excited when I heard Mrs. Travers was coming out with this series. I couldn't wait to see all the Devil's Knights kid's all grown up and see how they held up to their parents. Again I'm alway's a bit weary going into a spin-off series with the kids, cause their either going to be a hit or a miss. So when I got to read the first book in this series Passing the Torch, Hero and Reva's story, I found myself to be a bit disappointed and lacking. But I wanted to try and give this series another chance.
I hope I don't spoil anything for anyone, if you haven't read the first book you might be a bit confused. But this book starts off right where the first book ended where everyone is staying at the clubhouse because there is a murder on the loose killing girl's from the strip club.
I have to admit that I really liked Indiana, aka Indy. She's a stripper for the club who finds herself in need of help from the club in finding her bestfriend Royal. I thought she was a sweet, kind and caring girl.
I actually loved Frost, if you don't know who Frost is well he's Demon and Paige's youngest son, Zig and Zag's brother. He seems to have a solid and straight head on him.
Although I enjoyed this book much better than the first book, I have to say once again it was missing the feeling of family. Although we see all the original OG's it doesn't seem as these are their kids. I don't know how to explain it, but this series is just missing the "IT" factor for me.
I'm giving this book 3.5 Stars out of 5!!!
